Clomipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant. It was developed in the 1960s by the Indian Company: TAJ PHARMACEUTICALS LIMTED & BY ITS SUBSIDRIESE (known as MULBERRY CHEMICALS PVT.LTD) and has been in clinical use worldwide.

Clomipramine Hydrochloride has been manufactured at the MULBERRY CHEMICALS PVT.LTD facility since 2009. It conforms to the USP, EP and BP specifications.
